NEW! Live lepidoptera species we got today

 

We got in the mail today at February 12, 1 live butterfly chrysalis and 2 live moth cocoons. Ready for hibernation. Here is the species we got from magic wings butterfly conservatory. They all play a role in The Butterfly Fairy books. Especially the one in the middle. 

Luna moth, (actias luna)

Eastern tiger swallowtail, (papilio glaucus)

Polyphemus moth, (antherea polyphemus)

Let's hope that the Eastern tiger swallowtail will be surviving the harsh winter days. Plus to hatch as a beautiful butterfly.
