INTRODUCTION TO SPENCER Spencer Mcfield Sheppard was born on October 4th, 1999. He had a huge passion for nature, animals, and of course, storytelling. Born and raised in Manhattan, New York, he found little places of nature in community gardens and parks within New York City with his mother, Joyce Sheppard. Later in his childhood, he found a portfolio of mythical and magical creatures that Joyce was working on. That soon developed into a fascination of some mythical creatures throughout his early teen years. Although he is high functioning autistic and couldn't speak and write well, he had a passion for doing animation. He worked on his drawing skills for fun and to keep his dream alive. But he gave up the pursuit of an animation career when he reached the age of 17. Though this was the end of the journey of becoming an animator, it was the beginning of a storyteller.
